The BBC held a conference to discuss Scottish Independence.
BBC Journalist, Commentator and Reporter, Andrew Neil gives an extremely negative and bias view on the consequences of Scottish Independence.
Referring to Stephanie Flanders rather skewed financial figures and assumptions, he paints a very bad picture of the future Scotland. He even cherry picks the reason for the historic Act of Union, stating that it was a bale-out for Scotland after she lost 1/3 of her finances due to the collapse of the Darien Project. This is true to a certain extent, but the real reasons for the Union was definately to benefit England's security on its northern border and to prevent Scottish competition in international trade.
This is a very bias presentation that is aimed squarely at smearing Alex Salmond. This is a policy that never ceased throughout the whole campaign period.
